Today’s Guest: Bob Schultz

 

Bob SchultzBOB SCHULTZ, MIRM, CSP, IS PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF NEW HOME SPECIALIST INC., a consulting company to the home building and residential real estate industries. Bob and his team specialize in sales training, management and marketing coordination. He and his licensed facilitators conduct more than 350 custom sales and management training seminars and workshops to thousands of salespeople, builders, developers, Realtors® and housing manufacturers throughout North America each year. Bob also frequently conducts strategic planning sessions and retreats for management teams and corporate personnel. Clients include some of the nation’s leading building and real estate companies.

Bob is the author of The Official Handbook for New Home Salespeople and Smart Selling Techniques, as well as numerous articles that have ap- peared in industry publications like Sales + Marketing Ideas and Builder magazine. Bob was cho- sen by Builder to create, pro- duce and present its Builder Uni- versity sales and sales management programs, which featured Zig Ziglar, The Covey Leadership Center, Nido Qubein, Brian Tracy and other outstanding speakers.

Prior to forming New Home Specialist Inc. in 1984, Bob served as the Executive Vice President of Multicon, Inc. (whose affiliate company was previously a wholly owned subsidiary of Bethlehem Steel Corporation), one of Florida’s leading developers of waterfront condominium communities. In addition, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Multi- con of Florida Sales Corporation, the sales and marketing division of Multicon, Inc.

In that position, he had total responsibility for the marketing, sales and management of all Multicon owned projects, as well as joint ventures and residential projects managed for lending institutions and other developers throughout Florida. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Leadership Realty & Management, Inc., his programs successfully sold out all company owned communities as well as lender owned projects. He also created and conducted an exclusive resale program for all of Leadership’s communities.

Bob was selected for the corporate positions with Leadership Housing, Inc. by Mr. Harrison Lasky, Leadership president, after having been the company’s most consistent sales performer for two consecutive years. Leadership Housing acquired the assets of The Behring Corporation, with whom Bob began his career as an onsite salesperson in 1969.

In these corporate positions at Leadership Housing and Multicon, Bob created strategies and directed the implementation of programs for more than 40 large condominium and singlefamily home developments in Florida, representing more than 6,000 unit sales with a dollar volume in excess of $480 million.
