Today's Guest: Marina Inserra

Marina Inserra is a San Diego native who will be competing for Miss California on June 28th. She is currently representing as Miss Yosemite Valley and is a former Miss San Diego 2011. A graduate from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Marina is a performer at SeaWorld San Diego. When she is not working as a Mermaid during Halloween or singing in the Shamu show at Christmas time, she shares animal information with park guests and inspires them to love the world we share with these animals. An animal lover since she was a child, Marina enjoys riding horses and SCUBA diving. When she is not working you can usually find her volunteering her time for organizations like the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation, the Children’s Miracle Network, or WAVES – a program for wounded American veterans to rehabilitate through SCUBA.
