Dream Halloween

Dream Halloween® was originally established 21 years ago by the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation to impact the lives of children infected with HIV and affected by AIDS. Through the years, the event raised more than $40 million for this purpose. Today, Dream Halloween® has become an event hosted by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and will support the fight against pediatric leukemia. Remarkable strides have been made in the fight against blood cancers, including the research which genetically alters the HIV virus in laboratories allowing it to search out and destroy blood cancer cells in the body while not having any adverse affects to healthy cells.

In the past Dream Halloween® has been an annual Halloween family carnival- type event at Barker Hangar. This year as we transition to our new charity, the event is a bit more tame and intimate as we focus fundraising via the screening of the newly release film, "The Boxtrolls." This small "dash" of Dream Halloween® is designed to let all of our many supporters know that we are still here and still dedicated to helping severely sick children. Next year, we will restore Dream Halloween to its full format! But, that doesn't mean you should miss out on all the fun of Halloween at the Egyptian Theater this year!

Come in your favorite custom and enjoy the Boxtrolls with appearances by the actual voice actors from The Boxtrolls!

The California Southland Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is thrilled to invite you to Dream Halloween! Featuring a special screening of The Boxtrolls.  This family friendly event will be a great day of entertainment for kids of all ages featuring carnival games, arts & crafts, face painting, bounce house jumpers, food and treats followed by the family friendly movie!
