After growing up in Spokane, WA as a dedicated athlete, Austin moved to Colorado for college and the pursuit of baseball. He shortly discovered a passion for aviation, which led to an Associate’s Degree in Aviation Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
He has over 15 years experience in business aviation and the airline industry with extensive knowledge in domestic and international operations. He has flown commercially for US Airways Express, United Express and America West Express. Since 2005 he has piloted Westwind and Gulfstream jets for Avjet Corporation, Clay Lacy Aviation and DIRECTV, flying some of the worlds most successful business people and celebrities.
Austin has dedicated numerous hours to coaching and counseling individuals in breaking through the barriers that keep them from achieving what they want in life. He thrives on helping people discover their own passion, and effectively living their life’s purpose.
Although Austin has experienced many great adventures during his years of international travel, he came to realize that community and a sense of belonging are essential to true happiness. Through his volunteer work he has found serving others and giving to be extremely healing and inspirational, so much so that it inspired him to create A Move For Life.
