Today’s Guest: Marijo Wilson

Topic: Tax Lien EXPERT

Dr. Marijo Wilson received her Ph.D. from Kansas State in Microbiology in 1984.  Dr. Wilson did post-doctoral research at the University of Idaho and then joined the faculty in the Department of Entomology at the University Of Kentucky.  During her tenure at the University of Kentucky Dr. Wilson studied real estate law, real estate marketing and became a licensed real estate agent.  During this time frame Dr. Wilson also received her license in life and health insurance, long-term health, disability and became licensed to sell securities as well.  Dr Wilson left her position with UK after five years to start a pest control business which flourished during her ownership.  The business consisted of two national franchise operations in three different markets (Lexington and Louisville, KY and Cincinnati, OH).  In 2004, Dr. Wilson became a National Real Estate Mentor and has worked with Clients in over 250 markets during the past ten years.   Dr. Wilson currently teaches both a 3-day live training course as well as an eighteen hour online course about Tax Liens and Deeds.  Dr. Wilson has purchased tax liens in several States including Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Arizona and Florida.  For the past five years with her husband, Everett Rank, Dr. Wilson has been helping return unclaimed funds to their rightful owners.

Dr. Wilson lives in Kentucky and Florida and has two children and three step-children.  She loves to travel, attend auctions and interview county officials regarding their delinquent tax procedures.  She loves to share her knowledge and experience with clients and takes great pride in their successes.
